Advanced Placement Program

QSI Zhuhai offers the AP Capstone Diploma to its secondary students. This skills-based program challenges students to develop the research and communication skills necessary for success in post-secondary education and beyond.

AP Capstone is a new program from College Board that prepares students for the independent research, collaborative teamwork, and communication skills that are in line with what universities are increasingly seeking. The program promotes curious, independent, and collaborative scholars and prepares them to make logical evidence-based decisions.  AP Capstone is centered around two AP courses—AP Seminar and AP Research—and is designed to complement and enhance the discipline-specific study in other AP courses. 

QSI Zhuhai proudly offers the Academic Diploma with Honors—the most advanced diploma in our program—for students seeking the highest level of academic challenge and recognition. To earn this prestigious distinction, students must fully satisfy all requirements of the standard Academic Diploma while completing at least four Advanced Placement (AP) courses. These rigorous, college-level AP courses demonstrate exceptional intellectual depth and prepare students for success at top universities worldwide. Graduates receive this honors designation on their diplomas and transcripts, significantly enhancing their competitiveness in college admissions by demonstrating mastery, perseverance, and readiness for higher education.
